Brief Introduction
Associate Professor, Ph.D. Supervisor

He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Melbourne in 2018. From 2018 to 2023, he worked at the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) in Australia as a Senior Research Scientist. His research focuses on trustworthy artificial intelligence, including large model security and compliance, controllable safety of agent systems, and reliable and trustworthy domain-specific large models. He has made innovative contributions in explainability, attacks and defenses, trust certification, and privacy for AI models.
In the past five years, he has published over 60 academic papers in top-tier conferences and journals, including:
Security: IEEE S&P (CCF A), NDSS (CCF A), USENIX Security (CCF A), CCS (CCF A), TIFS (CCF A), TDSC (CCF A), etc.
Machine Learning: ICML (CCF A), ICLR, CVPR (CCF A), IJCAI, etc.

He has led or participated in multiple major national research projects, including the National Key R&D Program, National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) Key and General Projects, Yangtze River Delta Joint Scientific and Technological Projects, AI Pioneer Pre-Research Projects, and AI-empowered Discipline Advancement Programs.
His research outcomes have been applied in significant scientific and industrial projects, earning the Australian national innovation award iAwards. He has developed several open-source platforms and tools, including the Large Model Security Testbed and AI Security Vulnerability Database, providing enterprises and research institutes with resources for real-time testing, vulnerability analysis, and security protection. His work won the Outstanding Solution Award at the 2024 Global AI Attack & Defense Challenge, with results showcased at the 2024 World Internet Conference in Wuzhen.
In 2025, as project leader, he launched the first trustworthy large model matrix for diagnosing rare diseases, which was recognized among the Top 10 AI Application Scenarios at the 2nd Belt and Road Science and Technology Exchange Conference, Top 10 AI-enabled Sustainable Development Cases at the 2025 World Artificial Intelligence Conference, and featured in 2025 National Disruptive Technology Projects.
