Brief Introduction

I am now a professor at the school of computer science, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. My research interests include machine learning, deep learning and computer vision. I have coauthored more than 100 papers in top journals or conferences of artificial intelligence. My published papers got more than 10000 citations and my H-index is 54. As a PI, I got more than 10 granted projects from our governments or from companies. Students supervised by me got awards such as ICME 2023 best student paper runner up, CAISSE 2012 best paper and ACCV 2009 best paper award. I entered the Elsevier list of highly cited researchers in computer science of China from 2014-2018, and entered the list of top 2% scientists in the world released by Stanford university.  

Education

1993.09 - 1997.01, I got my Ph.D degree at the department of radio engineering, Southeast university, Nanjing, China, major in information and signal processing.

1987.09 – 1990.07, I got my Master degree in mathematics at the department of mathematics, Sichuan normal university, Chengdu, China.

1983.09-1987.07, I got my Bachelor degree in mathematics at the department of mathematics, Sichuan normal university, Chengdu, China.
